healthier eating tips for a fast food lover?

I was wondering if you all have any tips that would make eating healthier easier. I really do want to start eating healthier but I love fast food and whenever I try a diet with health foods, I get grouchy and unhappy and it actually makes me crave junk food more. And when it comes to just being committed no matter how bad it is, that’s not me, I’m very bad with commitment. So Is there a way for me to eat healthy and be satisfied with it?

make a list of any food you think is healthy, like salad, fish n chips, etc.

i choose fish over seafood (more cholesterol) and chicken or beef ( cholesterol n more oil and many chemicals)

i choose real chicken over nuggets (you dont know wat they made nuggets from)

i order stir fry n always say *less oil, no MSG, more veggies*
–> my fav word

then you might start to modify it, like cut salad dressing n change the chips with baked potato which have less oil.

include more simple veggies in your foodlike salad, tomato slices , baked bean etc.

fast food arent all bad, try veggie tortilla.

make promise to yourself, like if you eat fastfood 4 times a week,
now u will eat regular fastfood for 2 times and eat healthy modified fastfood for the rest of 2 times of the week.

im not a big fan of fast food so i cant really make a full list for you, but sometimes i hv no choice but to eat fast food n i modified it (i choose the kind of fast mood and add more veggies n replace the oily one w the substitute if any)

gud luck!

eat smaller portions. there are no off rules foods…just try to eat them in smaller quantities and count your calories so you don’t over do it. also try a low impact excersise to help burn of those extra pounds. if you do eat out….try practical things like not getting mayonaisse

Humans are creatures of habit, thats all. The reason you crave junk food more when you arent eating it is because you are so used to eating it. its like withdrawls. my best advice is to transition gradually. like over a few weeks, not just one day. also, learn about what is healthy and what is not. I suggest googling raw foods.

I love hamburgers but I get mine from a real burger joint, I ask for my meat to be grilled and no butter on the bun.

best thing to do is start off slowly. don’t change your eating habits overnight, you’ll set yourself up for failure.

eat what you normally eat and keep track of how much you’re eating, by either spacing out your meals, eating more, or less.
